CrossFit by definition is broad, general, and inclusive. All of the workouts are designed to help people function at their highest capacity in life. Workouts are designed to be scaled, so athletes of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels can participate.

Coach Jess teaches CrossFit at Sound CrossFit in Laurelhurst. At that facility, they address 10 general physical skills and  place emphasis on community and commitment. CrossFit requires new participants to attend an Essentials course before participating in a regular class. If you are training with Jess, you will be able to bypass that course.
